The Second Run
Athlete’s
Average velocity: Linear equation
of trend line: y=mx + b
0= (5.22)0 + b
b=0
y= 5.45x
y= athlete’s position in meters x= the amount of time for the athlete to run the race. m= average velocity of the athlete b= position of the athlete at 0 seconds
Instantaneous velocity
at 16m = 4.255m/s Prediction of the
athlete time at 50.00m y=mx + b 50= (5.22) x x= 9.58 I would recommend
the runner to do more exercise and to keep up her stamina she has very little endurance and she need to run faster. Some of
the problems From 0 to 1.5 sec
she runs 6 meters with a constant accelerating 1.5 to 4 sec she
ran 7 more meters with lots of constants and accelerating and decelerating. And 4 sec to 6 sec
she ran 6 more meters again increasing and decreasing with a constant speed. Emily Todd, Sara Chin, Arturo Rojas, Shea Calvin |
